What Is The Name Of The Car Insurance That Covers The Car No Matter Who Is Driving It?

I am in Texas an not too long ago I saw a commercial that said they offered insurance that covers whoever is driving your car. That you get the insurance and it will cover any person including yourself?

I recommend you locate a nearby auto insurance agent to help. Since I live in Oregon I can’t recommend anyone in Texas, but here is an online resource that can help you. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Free-Aut…
    Good Luck.

I’m in Texas. I’m an agent. There is no personal auto policy, that covers all situations. Period. There are ALWAYS exclusions.
There are lots of agencies that say we’ll cover your car no matter who is driving, but they don’t tell you what the EXCLUSIONS are, on the policy. One is, you have to either name (cover) or exclude (not cover) the owner of the car and all members of the household. Another is, if you use the car for business, nothing is covered (think, taxi or jitney service).
So, if the point is, you want to get insurance for your car, but not pay for you as a driver, then, well, YOU are not going to be covered if you drive.
Sorry. Commercials can be VERY misleading, because, well, I’ve spent a lot more time explaining how it works, than a 60 second commercial EVER could.

Most personal auto polices offer permissive use coverage with some exclusions. The main exclusion would be that the vehicle can not be furnished for regular use. So if you are the named insured on the policy and you lend the car to your buddy to pick up some milk, your policy will extend. however if you lend the vehicle to your friend indefinitely the insurance company would most likely deny any claims. Check with your agent or read your contracts exclusions because if its a discount provider expect to have a lot of exclusions.

Not all of them… some policies allow for the reduction in liability limits (down to the minimum required by law) if someone is driving your vehicle and not listed on the policy, period. The states that allow this usually hold the _driver_ responsible, not the owner.
I’ve found some helpful info here too:

No, that does not exist. If someone drives your car without a valid license, they would never be covered. Same with underage drivers..
